Rheology and stability of disperse systems
About the seminar
Pre-registrations for the 15th edition of the 2 1/2-day cooperation seminar are now open.
The next seminar is expected to take place from May 5 - May 7, 2026 in Potsdam.
The venue will be announced in good time.
The companies Anton Paar Germany GmbH, SINTERFACE Technologies and LUM GmbH, in cooperation with several scientific institutions from the DACH region, cordially invite you to a varied lecture programme with experienced speakers from industry and research.
All course participants will receive their own copy of the accompanying textbook at the end of the event.
Contents
The seminar is aimed at users from research, product development, or quality assurance who already have experience with rheological measurements and stability testing in their daily practice and want to learn about the benefits of current capabilities, or who wish to explore rheological measurement methods and methods for direct and accelerated stability assessment in the future.
Complementary methods for determining particle properties (particle size distribution, particle density, particle counting) round out the program.
On the first day, the fundamentals of 2D and 3D rheology, direct stability determination, and particle size distribution determination will be taught.
The second day focuses on technology. Using case studies, participants will solve practical tasks and can then apply this knowledge to their current and future work. User presentations from research and industry will be the focus of the third day. As in previous years, we look forward to a lively exchange between participants and the practitioners presenting.
At the end of the course, all participants will receive their own copy of the reference work: "Dispersion Properties, 2D Rheology, 3D Rheology, Stability", ISBN 978-3-00-045864-4.
