Exploring internationally the hidden secrets through X-ray Insights
LUM GmbH welcomed international partners to exchange information on the latest analytical solutions
Berlin, 13 February 2026:
From February 9th to 11th, LUM GmbH once again welcomed its international sales partners to exchange insights on the latest analytical solutions for customer inquiries in particle and dispersion characterization, as well as materials testing. This 24th International Sales Meeting was held for the first time at LUM’s new location at Wagner-Régeny-Str. 16 in Berlin-Adlershof.
A central highlight of the event was the specialized training on the new Gravity Separation & Particle Analyser LUMiReader® X-Ray 440. This innovative instrument elevates the capabilities of X-ray STEP technology, enabling comprehensive characterization of inorganic particles and their formulations from multiple perspectives using a single analyser. Its versatility now extends across dispersions, suspoemulsions, and emulsions, and opens new possibilities for powders, foams, chemical solutions, flat solid objects, and particles embedded in solid matrices.
LUM’s concept of environmentally friendly and rapid sample analysis is gaining international recognition. By minimizing sample volumes, preventing direct contact between sample and instrument, and eliminating the need for chemical additives or solvents through the use of closed measuring cells, LUM delivers high analytical information content with maximum efficiency. During the meeting, long-standing sales partners and representatives from LUM subsidiaries around the world engaged extensively with experts at the Berlin headquarters to discuss and explore these advancements.
Finally, participants also enjoyed a varied evening program, taking full advantage of Berlin’s vibrant atmosphere - a city that is always worth visiting.
